The sheltered location of north Helford affords the region sub-tropical gardens to visit, which are a short drive from Falmouth. The region is a brilliant base from which to explore;  many foot ferries will take you on a tour of the River Fal and you can easily take a car ferry across to The Roseland Peninsula.
